What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files saved in your browser when you visit a site. On Nelly.com and NLYMan we use four types. Below you can read what each category is used for. Necessary cookies are always set. The other three are only set if you say yes, and you can change your mind whenever you like.
Necessary These cookies are needed for the site to work. They keep track of what you have added to your bag, keep you signed in through checkout, remember which market you shop from, and protect against fraud. Without them basic functions such as navigation and signing in do not work, and you cannot shop with us. Legal basis: they may be set without your consent, as they are necessary for the service you asked for. The data is processed so that we can fulfil our contract with you, and for our legitimate interest in security and fraud prevention.
Functionality and preferences Remembers choices you have made yourself, so the site behaves the way you set it up. For example, which cookie settings you have chosen. Legal basis: your consent. Nothing in this category is set before you have agreed to it, and you can change your mind at any time.
Statistics and analytics Helps us understand how the site is used — which pages are visited, where something goes wrong and what could be better. This includes tools that record how visitors move around the page, so we can see what is causing trouble. This category is not used to show you tailored offers — that is under Marketing. Marketing We use cookies to show ads and offers we think you will be interested in, and to tailor content and product suggestions on the site to what you have viewed and bought. For example, you may have bought a party dress before and therefore see a dress ad, or shopped at NLY Trend and get offers from there. If you say no, you will still see ads, but general ones, and no offers tailored to products you like. We cannot control which ads you meet on other sites — your choice decides whether we may use information about you to tailor them. This also covers affiliate marketing. There we share a pseudonymised order number with our partners, to connect purchases and returns with traffic that came through their channels. In some cases the IP address is shared as well, to prevent fraud, and it is not kept longer than necessary. Some data is passed on to the advertising and analytics companies we work with, who may use it to tailor and improve their services. Note that we never use purchase history of intimate products or similar sensitive information to shape ads or personalised content. Legal basis: your consent. Cookie settings You can change what you have said yes to at any time. On the website, open the cookie settings at the bottom of the page. In the app you will find them under Settings → Privacy and tracking. If you change your mind, we stop using cookies in that category and the ones already set are deleted. Settings apply only to the browser you make them in. If you use several browsers or devices, you need to make the choice in each. If you become a member and accept our membership terms, we process your personal data as described in those terms and in the privacy policy. You have the same ability to change your cookie choices as above.
How to delete cookies Besides changing your choices above, you can turn off cookies in your browser settings. You can also set your browser to ask you each time a site wants to save a cookie, and delete cookies that have already been saved. How to do it depends on which browser you use:
